Principles of Lesson Plans & Classroom Dynamics Graduate Student Workshop

October 16, 2018 - 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

This workshop will discuss principles and strategies for lesson planning from considerations of the purpose and design of the course to individual tasks within lessons that lead to specific outcomes and types of production. Participants will also discuss practical aspects of language classroom pedagogy from perspectives of inclusivity, implied sociolinguistic messaging, pacing, and differentiated learning. Open to graduate students in any year and any language.
