Alina is a junior in the German Department concentrating in Media and Aesthetics. She’s broadly interested in the aesthetics of organization and the ontological distinction between the organizational vs. the aesthetic situated in the German and Soviet contexts. Of particular interest are cultural techniques in proto-filmic propaganda, discussions of self-organization and auto-affect, as well as pre-cybernetics system theory.

Alina is a runner-traveler, a King-Gizzard enthusiast, and a lifelong broccolian.
