Charles is a German Major in the class of 2023. He started studying German in second grade when his family moved to Berlin. Charles moved back to the United States and struggled to find a German-speaking community so he decided to take German classes to keep up with the language. Charles took language and history classes throughout high school and developed an interest in German history and literature.
