George Tidmore

George (he/him) is a junior in the German Department from South Georgia also pursuing a minor in African American Studies. His interests include multi/transcultural literature and art, refuge and migration experiences, and colonial imprints on memory, health, and creative expression. Broadly, he is curious about how identities collide with each other in German-speaking contexts.
Outside the walls of East Pyne, George performs with Shere Khan A Cappella and Triangle Club, serves as a Peer Health Advisor and as an executive board member of Princeton Students for Reproductive Justice, and organizes GLOSSA: Princeton’s Multilingual Magazine. He enjoys running on the towpath and sharing poems with friends.
