Annie Xiong

Annie is a junior in the German department concentrating in Media Theory and Aesthetics, also pursuing certificates in Environmental Studies, Medieval Studies, and Gender and Sexuality. She is passionate about photography, specifically work by German-Jewish photographers between the world wars. Coming from Shanghai, China, she is interested in cross-cultural identities and conceptions of homeland in the German context.
On campus, Annie is an active member of the Princeton University Art Museum Student Advisory Board, the Brooklyn College Success Program, which offers college counseling to high school seniors, and Princeton Consulting Group, a non-profit consulting start-up. In her free time, Annie enjoys hiking, listening to podcasts, visiting art museums, and trying new restaurants with friends.
