Approaches to Teaching German Grammar

This workshop will outline various strategies and frameworks for teaching grammar, syntax, and lexis in the language classroom and their consequences in terms of consistency, linguistic accuracy, and applicability as the curriculum advances. Participants will be challenged to appraise the limits of their knowledge and ask questions throughout. All examples are German with English translations where necessary, but the workshop is open to graduate students in any year.
