German Graduate Students,

The Department is rolling out a series of lunch workshops about research and the profession, and Mike Jennings has generously agreed to lead our first session, which will be a seminar on Technology and Academic Workflows.

Attendance is optional and no preparation required.

Mike describes the seminar as follows: “We’ll look at a series of programs that aid in the research process: from pdf markup and note taking through database management, reference management, outlining and on to writing. The emphasis will be on Mac and iOS apps, including GoodReader, DevonThink (both Pro Office and to Go), Sente, OmniOutliner, and Ulysses.”

Please RSVP to Fiona Romaine fromaine@exchange.Princeton.EDU by Tuesday, October 17th, so that we know how many lunches to provide.
