The German department is pleased to have Professor Carlos Spoehase, Class of 1932 Visiting Fellow in the Council of the Humanities and the Department of German, on-campus for the fall semester. Professor Spoerhase is a literary theorist and Professor of German Literature at Bielefeld University. He is coteaching , GER 520 “Topics in Literary and Cultural Theory: From Minimalism to Maximalism: Scale in Literature, the Arts, & Media,” with Professor Nikolaus Wegmann.
